In spring 2022 we were fortunate enough to bump into the forward thinking Moor Green Allotment team and instantly knew that we sung from the same hymn sheet ! It wasn't long before a band of volunteers got together to clear away rubbish from the site and a forest school community sprang up. Together we have developed a nature zone, created bug hotels and fairy dens and shared many a hot chocolate and marshmallow around an open fire.
With access to a beautiful mixed broardleaf copse named Beehive wood, an allotment plot for community growing, a club house for art and wellbeing activities, an outdoor community kitchen and Cannon Hill Park next door for nature trails and community picnics, we are looking forwards to seeing what 2024 has in offer for everyone here...
