WHO WE ARE

EcoGrow Community Interest Company is a community allotment, a forest school and an environmental conservation non profit organisation.  EcoGrow CIC was incorporated in June 2020 primarily as a response to Covid-19, the Climate emergency and recognition of the need to develop resilient communities.  Individuals and families were struggling with physical and mental wellbeing, children were off school and fresh food in the shops was sparse.  EcoGrow  was conceived as an opportunity to be a solution to some of these problems - the EcoGrow community observed, discussed, planned and then took an informed leap to make change happen.  The Community Interest Company has worked alongside members of the public, volunteers and other community minded groups to get it to where it is now; offering a safe outdoor space to be, learn, grow and play.  We also go out to schools and community groups to deliver talks and run workshops about environmental conservation issues.

We have many skilled people on our team; qualified teachers, artists, gardeners, level 3 forest school practitioners and individuals with a positive outlook on life.  We are all working together towards a playful, sustainable and resilient future.
