Community growing and forest school
It all began here in 2020, when the lovely team at Court Lane gave us a chance to rejuvenate their previously loved community growing space.
It took many hands many weeks to clear bramble, bind weed, fallen dead wood and deep tap roots of dock to get going, but we soon started to see the site take shape and a community of people coming together to make it work.
As part of the thriving community of allotmenteers in Court Lane Allotments, EcoGrow facilitate communal growing, adult upskilling/skill sharing, art and wellbeing, nature workshops and child led play sessions in a secluded corner of their site. With a nature pond, multiple large communal growing beds, a forest area, a wildlife garden , honey bee hives, use of a porter cabin and two large marquees EcoGrow Erdington is a wonderful place to meet people and learn new skills in a positive and friendly outdoor environment.
